Ishita Kishore has topped the IAS 2022 examination the result of which was declared by the UPSC on 23rd May, 2023.




Top four positions in the All India Result is taken by female candidates, which has become a norm in recent times. 

With the result, the age long debate of caste and social status has come to the fore. This was started with the miraculous performance of Tina Dabi in 2016. 

People are also looking for the caste of Ishita Kishore. The surname doesn't indicate anything. 

Ishita is actually a Brahmin by caste. However, her caste has no role to play in the success of Ishita
