V. C. Sajjanar is a Telangana cadre IPS officer. He is the
current Commissioner of Police, Cyberbad (Hyderabad). In a career spanning
around two decades, Mr. Sajjanar has done some of the most courageous acts and
had led his team for greater success. He is particularly known as an encounter
specialist who has always loved to fight it out against big gangsters and petty
criminals involved in heinous crimes.
Mr. Sajjanar was involved in the Warangal Acid Attack encounter,
where his team had shot down three criminals on the spot. Only recently, when
the entire nation was on the boil for rape and murder of P. Reddy (Disha), he
has taken the same action. During reconstruction of crime scene, a rapist
snatched the revolver of a policeman and fired. In retaliation, all of them
were killed.
