Astik Kumar Pandey is a 2011 batch
Maharashtra Cadre IAS officer. He is widely regarded as one of the best IAS
officers of the state in the contemporary times. He is known for finding
innovating ways to motivate his team to give the best possible result. Being
people centric in making administrative decision is his hallmark.
Astik has always tried to ensure to
let the last man in the queue to enjoy the fruit of Government programs and
policies. Coming from a humble background, he had cracked UPSC Civil Services
Examination in 2010 with All India Rank of 74. He got his first choice of
service and also first choice of state cadre. It may be noted that it was his
third attempt at UPSC CSE. He couldn’t crack the prestigious exam in his first
two attempts.

ensuring time credit and other benefits to farmers.

video went viral where he was seen washing off the wall of PWD office which was
stained with Paan and Gutka.
